A home shaped by instinct and intention, this space was designed with a deep appreciation for natural materials, thoughtful reuse, and slow living. Inspired by the warmth of Mediterranean homes and the earthy textures of Moroccan interiors, the homeowners were drawn to finishes that age gracefully while reducing their environmental impact.

The layout was opened up to encourage airflow, light, and everyday connection, where mornings begin with coffee and conversations move easily between the kitchen and living area. At the entrance, a brick wall from “Loqa”, a circular material design studio, filters light and breeze into the home, softening the transition between indoors and out while giving discarded materials a second life.
Hands on from the start, the homeowners painted the limewashed walls themselves using a natural mineral based finish free from synthetic chemicals and low in VOCs. Beyond its textured appearance, limewash allows walls to breathe naturally while offering a more environmentally conscious alternative to conventional paint finishes. Each floor tile was laid by hand, while collected pieces, from custom lamps to a Moroccan sink, were chosen slowly over time rather than all at once.
Plants were thoughtfully incorporated throughout the home, bringing life, shade, and a closer connection to nature into the everyday living experience. More than decoration, they became part of the atmosphere itself.

What emerged was not a perfectly polished home, but one grounded in care, craftsmanship, and conscious choices, a space that continues to evolve with every object, every plant, and every memory added along the way.
