The Floridian

JAPANDI | RESALE CONDOMINIUM

From the start, the couple knew how they wanted their home to feel. With two young daughters and busy work lives, their days moved fast, and home needed to do the opposite. It had to be a place to slow down, feel settled, and recharge, much like the simple holidays they used to take before becoming parents.

That sense of ease became the foundation of the home. Rather than following a strict style, the design focused on light, warmth, and comfort. Light woods, soft whites, and sandy tones keep the spaces open and relaxed. The result is a home that feels bright and lived-in, with a quiet, sunlit quality the family describes as feeling like a home by the sea.

The living area was designed to bring the family together at the end of the day. A children’s art corner sits within the space, allowing the girls to create while staying close to their parents, making everyday moments feel shared and unforced.

Throughout the home, thoughtful storage helps keep things organised without feeling strict. Materials were chosen to age well and connect each room naturally. As daily routines change and the children grow, the home remains flexible, calm, and easy to live in.
