Designed for a couple who works from home, the space was crafted to feel warm and full of life through the use of rich wood grains, dark charcoal accents, and layered lighting.

A key priority was preserving the home's character, specifically the original vintage marble flooring with its unique black marble border. This dictated a complete reshaping of the kitchen layout to perfectly fit within the marble’s footprint. For entertainment, the dining area was expanded to accommodate a 2.2m table and a space-saving suspended bench that doubles as hidden storage.

In the private quarters, a guest bedroom was converted into a large walk-in wardrobe joined to the master suite, providing enough room for a central dressing island. The master bedroom also features a dedicated lounge and reading nook. Throughout the home, the herringbone-patterned feature wall in the living room serves as a primary focal point, ensuring the minimalist aesthetic remains visually engaging.
