For this busy family of four, home had become a place they simply passed through between commitments. Our design brief wasn’t about adding more square footage, it was about creating a pause from their hectic schedules. They didn't need a bigger house; but a space where they could instantly unwind the moment they walked through the door.
Leaning into Tropical Modernism, we transformed the apartment into a sanctuary of organic ease. The heart of the home is a bright living area anchored by a glass-framed pantry-turned-study that folds completely flat by late afternoon. Along the window line, dedicated personal corners for tea and spirits catch dappled tree shadows, bringing the peace of a beachside getaway indoors.
That relaxed sensibility carries into the private spaces. The master bedroom draws inspiration from a handmade rattan canopy, using light woods and woven textures to simplify morning routines. Finally, the bathroom features a raw stone, onsen-inspired shower designed for a soothing nightly reset. After all, this home doesn't just look like a resort, it simply understands why people need one.
